The world and the space around me with all its natural and human aspects provide me with the inspiration for my abstract works, which are colourful and dynamic, resulting in my own handwriting.
In all my work, both the silk paintings and my acrylic paintings, there is an interaction between myself, subject and material.

Colour, depth and suggested movement are themes that can often be found in my paintings. The human being is an important theme in my surreal acrylic paintings, where the emphasis is placed on aspects such as strength and grace.

In their own way, the themes are translated into paintings with distinct shapes and intense colours.
By using a lot of contrast and texture, a palpable tension is brought into the work.
